Baker McKenzie advises Swiss Post on the acquisition of Tresorit

Baker McKenzie has advised Swiss Post on its acquisition of a majority stake in Tresorit. The acquisition expands Swiss Post’s offering in the area of digital infrastructures and secure data transfer.

Baker McKenzie advised Swiss Post on all legal aspects of the transaction. The Baker McKenzie Zurich team was led by Pascal Richard (pictured) and consisted of Ramon Tissafi, Sylvia Polydor, Cora Schmid, Roger Thomi, Eva-Maria Strobel, Philippe Reich and Katharina Bojar. The Zurich team was supported by teams from the Firm’s Luxembourg, Budapest and Munich offices.

Tresorit offers end-to-end-encrypted cloud services for individuals and companies. The company has offices in Luxembourg, Hungary, Switzerland and Germany. Tresorit employs around 120 people.
