Bratschi advised Hälg Group on the acquisition of the “Gallus” industrial site
The Hälg Group has acquired from Gallus Ferd. Rüesch 20,000 m2 of its industrial site in St. Gallen. The seller remains the long-term anchor tenant for an area of approx. 30% of the site. The remaining 70% will be developed by Roger and Marcel Baumer, entrepreneurs and owners of Hälg Group.
The Hälg Group was founded in 1922 as a company for the installation of heating systems in St. Gallen. Today, the group includes several subsidiaries with more than 1100 employees and 21 locations throughout Switzerland. They implement projects in the areas of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, sanitation and building automation.
The seller, Gallus, is a subsidiary of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen with production facilities in Switzerland and Germany. The company is engaged in the development, production and sale of conventional and digital narrow-web, reel-fed presses designed for the label and packaging business.
Bratschi has advised Roger and Marcel Baumer in the transaction. The team was led by partner Thomas Schönenberger (real state, pictured) and his team Tanja Frischknecht and Andreas Brenner.
