Kellerhals Carrard advises Gaia Tech in a pre-seed round closing
Gaia Tech closes pre-seed round to start pilot production and enter the cosmetic ingredients market. The company is raising CHF 480’000 from SICTIC business angels, Venture Kick, and the STI Foundation.
Gaia Tech emerged from an innovative research project at the ETH Zurich. The ETH Spin-off company develops technologies that can unlock and market valuable resources found in byproducts from the agrofood sector, primarily olive sidestreams. The proprietary extraction technology, which is modular and scalable, has been awarded for its environmental friendliness and efficiency.
Kellerhals Carrard has advised the Founders and Gaia Tech in this transaction. The team was lead by partner Michèle Remund (pictured) and comprised Thomas Bähler, Kathrin Enderli, Philippe Frésard, Leandra Gafner.
