Vischer Guides Swiss Post in Steriparc Healthcare Venture 

In a strategic move to enhance its presence in the healthcare sector, Swiss Post, under the legal guidance of Vischer, has acquired a stake in Steriparc, a promising joint venture specializing in the externalized handling of medical equipment in Western Switzerland. This partnership marks a significant step forward for Swiss Post as it diversifies its logistics services, with a particular focus on sterile equipment preparation in Western Switzerland. 

Steriparc, the brainchild of this innovative joint venture, is dedicated to creating a robust platform that empowers hospitals and medical service providers to pool their expertise in sterilization, care, and maintenance of medical equipment throughout Western Switzerland. 

The foundation of Steriparc in March 2023 represents a collaborative effort between two industry leaders: Youcare Consulting SA and Aevis Victoria SA. The latter is the parent company of Swiss Medical Network, a renowned private clinic and hospital group in Switzerland. Together, they have set out to establish a new entity focused on offering outsourced sterilization services to medical service providers, including hospitals and outpatient clinics. 

With the operational phase set to commence in the autumn of 2024, Steriparc will be headquartered in Yverdon-les-Bains, located in the Canton of Vaud. This strategic move underscores Swiss Post’s commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare logistics solutions in Switzerland and aligns with Steriparc’s vision of transforming the sterilization landscape in Western Switzerland.
