TravelPerk acquires Yokoy: the advisors

Business travel platform TravelPerk completed the acquisition of Yokoy, a Zurich-based spend management specialist.

In connection with the deal, Walder Wyss advised Yokoy and its shareholders, while Lenz & Staehelin represented the buying part.

The parties

Headquartered in Barcelona, TravelPerk is a globally active travel management company.

Founded in 2019 under the moniker Expense Robot, Yokoy’s spend management platform utylises AI, custom workflows, and spend analytics to manage invoices, expenses, and payments.

The parties’ collaboration goes back to 2020, when they started to partner in offering travel and expense management to customers such as Breitling, On Running, and Medskin.

Lenz & Staehelin advised TravelPerk alongside A&O Shearman as international counsel.
