Baker McKenzie with UBS on Merbag’s syndicated credit facility
Baker McKenzie advised UBS Switzerland and a syndicate of Swiss banks on the conclusion of a syndicated credit facility agreement for Mercedes-Benz Automobil (Merbag). The proceeds of the facility in question will be directed at partially financing the company’s expansion plan.
Merbag
Merbag’s Swiss coverage spans 28 locations. The company is an authorized dealer for Mercedes-Benz’s brand porfolio, Mercedes AMG, Smart and Fuso. In 2022, Merbag entered the German market, with openings in the federal states of Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. Merbag’s European coverage further includes Luxemburg, Austria, and Italy.
