Helsana Group acquires Adcubum: the advisors
Swiss insurance company Helsana Group acquired Adcubum, a software products specialist with headquarters in St Gallen. In connection with the deal, Niederer Kraft Frey advised the buyer, while Bär & Karrer represented TA Associates, the company who invested in Adcubum back in 2021. The closing of the transaction is planned for later this year.
The parties
Headquartered in Dübendorf, Helsana is an insurance company with a premium volume of around CHF 8.2 billion, and around 3’400 employees throughout Switzerland. Its services spans basic, supplementary and accident insurance, as well as daily sickness benefits.
St. Gallen-based Adcubum is a software products specialist, active in the area of health and accident insurance. The company employs more than 300 people across its locations in Switzerland, Germany and Croatia. Pursuant to the deal Adcubum will maintain its independence as a company.
