Orrick to leave Geneva by end of 2025
Orrick has confirmed to legalcommunity.ch that it will wind down its Geneva office – the only Swiss location – by year-end, following a routine review coinciding with the conclusion of the office lease. The firm also stated that it will provide transition support to the five professionals affected by the closure— one counsel and four staff members.
The office
Opened in 2015, the Geneva branch served as a hub for the firm’s international arbitration & dispute resolution practice, advising on disputes related to investments across sectors including energy and infrastructure, manufacturing, and aviation.
Amongst the location’s key members, partners Charles Adams, James Hargrove, Vanessa Liborio, and Hervé Touraine, as well as of-counsel Ali Al-Khasawneh.
