Lenz & Staehelin appoints one new partner and three counsels
Lenz & Staehelin expands its partnership with the appointment of Federico Trabaldo Togna, effective January 1st 2026. The firm further promoted three new counsels: Jutta Gangsted, Tanja Schmidt and Norman Walczak, also effective from January 1st.
Federico Trabaldo Togna

A member of Lenz & Staehelin’s corporate and M&A team in Geneva since April 2017, Federico Trabaldo Togna is an expert in private equity and venture capital transactions. He regularly advises investors, founders and emerging growth companies across the technology and life sciences sectors.
Jutta Gangsted

Jutta Gangsted joined Lenz & Staehelin’s Geneva private clients team in 2017. She advises families, trustees and family offices on cross-border estate planning issues, working with both common law and civil law in areas such as business succession, trusts and foundations, philanthropy, art-related matters, and relocation. She also supports clients in trust-related disputes, including those concerning the duties of protectors and trustees, as well as beneficiaries’ rights to information.
Tanja Schmidt

Since 2020, Tanja Schmidt has been part of Lenz & Staehelin’s litigation group of the Geneva office. Her practice centers on civil disputes, particularly complex litigation with financial or international components. She also provides advice to individuals and companies on contractual and commercial matters, including the area of employment law.
Norman Walczak

With Lenz & Staehelin since 2021, Norman Walczak a member of the banking and finance, capital markets, and M&A practice groups in Zurich. He advises on domestic and international financing transactions. He assists both borrowers and lenders in complex cross-border matters, including acquisition, syndicated, structured, growth-stage, export, and project financing, as well as financial restructurings, private debt financings, and securities transactions.
