Archipel promotes two new counsels and a senior associate in Geneva

Effective from January 1st 2026, Archipel has promoted dispute-resolution specialists Marlena Harutyunyan (pictured left) and Panagiotis Kyriakou (pictured right) to counsel. The firm’s latest promotion round also appointed Joanna Didisheim as senior associate. All three professionals are based in Archipel’s Geneva office.

Marlena Harutyunyan

Marlena Harutyunyan joined Archipel’s Geneva office in 2022. Her practice focuses on international arbitration and cross-border litigation. Harutyunyan‘s experience spans commercial and investment arbitrations before several arbitral institutions, including ICC, ICSID, Swiss Arbitration Centre, LCIA, SCC. She supports her clientele in complex disputes across different industry sectors, including construction and infrastructure, oil and gas, energy, automotive. A member of the Paris bar and registered at the Geneva bar, Harutyunyan acts for clients in arbitration-related litigation before French and Swiss courts and enforcement of arbitral awards and foreign court decisions against states. Prior to joining Archipel, she practiced international arbitration and litigation in the Paris and New York offices of Baker McKenzie. 

Panagiotis Kyriakou

Part of Archipel’s Geneva office since 2021, Panagiotis Kyriakou is the Swiss Arbitration Ambassador for Cyprus, an alternate member of the ILA’s ADR Committee, and a listed arbitrator with the Blockchain Lawyers Forum and the ICC Swiss Commission of Arbitration. His practice mainly focuses on international arbitration and sports law, but also encompasses Swiss commercial matters, asset recovery and WTO law.  Kyriakou is a member of the Athens Bar and registered at the Geneva Bar. Before joining the Archipel, he worked with Giulio Palermo, served as a PhD researcher and teaching assistant at the Geneva Graduate Institute, and worked with firms across Geneva, Athens and Paris.

Joanna Didisheim

Joanna Didisheim joined Archipel’s Geneva office in 2022. Her practice concentrates on complex litigation, with a particular focus  on white-collar crime, enforcement of foreign judgments, and asset recovery. Prior to joining Archipel, she practiced litigation at LALIVE’s Geneva office.
