· Private equity investor Afinium has entered into an agreement to sell Threema — a provider of digital communication solutions for enterprises and public institutions — to Comitis Capital. In connection with the deal, VISCHER advised Afinium, while Pestalozzi Attorneys at Law represented Comitis.

· CMS Switzerland has promoted Yoann Lambert and Maxence Carron to partner, effective 1 January 2026. Both professionals are based in Geneva and members of the firm’s litigation department, with Lambert specialising in white-collar crime and civil litigation, and Carron focusing on arbitration and contract law.

· Lenz & Staehelin advised Veeam Software — a portfolio company of Insight Partners specialised in the development of data backup, data recovery and data protection solutions — in connection with its acquisition of Object First, a provider of immutable backup-storage solutions.
