Schellenberg Wittmer with BASF on optical brightening agent business sale to Catexel
Schellenberg Wittmer advised BASF — a chemical company whose core business includes chemicals, materials, industrial solutions and nutrition & care — on the sale of its optical brightening agent business to Catexel.
The transaction encompasses the international business, including the production of optical brightening agents at the Monthey site in Switzerland. Pursuant to the sale, around 80 employees will move to Catexel.
