ACC’s D.C. region has a new executive director

The Washington, D.C. area chapter of Association of Corporate Counsel has a new executive director. Shannon Graving comes from Corporate Pro Bono, where she served as assistant director for seven years. At CPB, Graving worked with in-house counsel to help them institute or expand their departments’ pro bono efforts.

Before then, Graving practiced law at the firm of Holand & Knight in its business law group. Graving replaces Ilene Reid, who was ACC National Capital Region’s first executive director.

Graving will work with ACC NCR’s new president, Navid Haghighi. The new president is managing associate general counsel at Verizon Communications, and is serving a one-year term.
