Advestra advises Marc O’Polo on acquisition of its Swiss business

Marc O’Polo Group takes over the Swiss business, consisting of the retail stores and the wholesale business, from its distribution partner Bollag-Guggenheim. The transition is expected to be completed by 1 September 2024.

Marc O’Polo will manage its business in Switzerland itself in the coming year and will take over all the retail stores as well as the entire Marc O’Polo wholesale business from Bollag-Guggenheim, the previous distribution partner. The approximately 70 employees working for the brand will also be transferred to the group.

Advestra has acted as Swiss legal counsel to Marc O’Polo. The team included partners Andreas Hinsen (pictured) and Sandro Fehlmann, associate Anna Tomaschek, Leonie Keller (all corporate, M&A) as well as Céline Martin (tax).
