Advestra advises on the rights offering by Meyer Burger

Mey­er Bur­ger Tech­no­logy suc­cess­fully com­pleted a cap­it­al increase rais­ing gross pro­ceeds of approx­im­ately CHF 250 mil­lion. The trans­ac­tion con­sisted of an offer­ing of sub­scrip­tion rights and the sub­sequent place­ment of shares for which rights were not exer­cised. The pro­ceeds from the offer­ing shall be used in par­tic­u­lar for the expan­sion of Mey­er Bur­ger­’s pro­duc­tion of sol­ar cells and sol­ar mod­ules in Ger­many, respect­ively in the US. Gold­man Sachs Europe, Jef­fer­ies and Zürch­er Kan­ton­al­bank acted as Joint Glob­al Coordinators.

Based in Thun, Meyer Burger is a globally active mechanical engineering company, mainly known for its production facilities in the photovoltaic industry.
