AMNIS with Swisscom Ventures in financing round: the advisors
Zurich-based fintech AMNIS completed a CHF 10 million series B financing round. Swisscom Ventures led the capital round in question, which saw the participation of existing investors – including co-investor Lansdowne. The operation also encompasses a CHF 2 million non-dilutive debt agreement with Swiss-based growth capital investor Lendity.
Niederer Kraft Frey (NKF) advised AMNIS, while MLL Legal represented Swisscom Ventures.
The context
Created in 2014 by Michael Wüst, Robert Bloch and Philippe Christen, AMNIS’ international banking platform is designed to help SMEs operate and scale globally, by reducing transaction costs, simplifying team expenses, and automating accounting tasks. AMNIS’ multi-currency solution focuses on eliminating inefficiencies in cross-border finance.
Leading investor for the round Swisscom Ventures advises investment funds for Swisscom and institutional investors totaling USD 650 million. These funds are often involved in minority stakes investments on Swiss and international start-ups.
