Reichle Immobilien sold the iconic Cube building and the high rack warehouse (Hochregallager) in the municipal of Wetzikon, Switzerland. The Cube is one of the most sustainable commercial properties in Switzerland. Built as a low-energy building it is fully independent from oil and gas.
Under the asymmetrical sale and lease back the seller‘s affiliate, Reichle & De-Massari, entered into a long-term triple-net lease agreement for the Cube building for its own operation on site. Under this special set-up both the interest of the seller and buyer as well as of the long-term tenant had to be aligned.
