Commerzbank agrees facility for Calik Enerji Swiss: the advisors
Çalık Enerji San. ve Tic. A.Ş and its Swiss subsidiary, Calik Enerji Swiss concluded a PLN 1.166 billion guarantee facility agreement with Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, Zurich Branch.
In connection with the operation, Baker McKenzie Switzerland advised Commerzbank, while Pestalozzi represented Çalık Enerji San. ve Tic. A.Ş and Calik Enerji Swiss.
The context
Swiss Export Risk Insurance provided the main coverage for the facility, which has been guaranteed by Çalık Enerji San. ve Tic. A.Ş. The agreement in question relates to Calik Enerji Swiss and Çalık Enerji’s EPC contract for the turnkey construction of a 1,336 MW combined-cycle power plant with H2-ready technology in Kozienice, Poland.
