The Baloise Swiss Property Fund was listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange. The first trading day was November 1, 2021. The investment objective of the Baloise Swiss Property Fund is primarily to generate a stable current income through direct investments in Swiss core/core plus real estate, which is in a good location and has a high stability of income and value. The real estate fund pursues a strategy of acquiring properties throughout Switzerland in order to hold them for the longer term and optimize their earnings potential.

The portfolio of the fund consisted of 72 properties and had an estimated market value of approximately CHF 811 million. Swiss Finance & Property acted as listing agent. The fund management company intends to continue adding to the Baloise Swiss Property Fund real estate portfolio, maintaining the emphasis on residential properties. The investment focus will remain on real estate in the towns and cities of the fast-growing economic regions and their catchment areas, which offer stable, long-term rental income. At the same time, the fund management company is further optimising the portfolio by realising local rental income potential with value-adding refurbishments and re-lettings.
