Baptiste Rigaudeau, new Chair of the CIArb Young Members Group

LALIVE associate Baptiste Rigaudeau has been elected as the Chair of the CIArb Young Members Group Global Steering Committee. As Chair, Baptiste will lead the Global Steering Committee in promoting the interests of young professionals under the age of 40 in the field of international arbitration, as well as providing opportunities for professional development and networking.

Baptiste Rigaudeau joined LALIVE in 2018. He specialises in international arbitration, with a focus on commercial and investor-State disputes. He has experience working as counsel and secretary to international arbitration tribunals. He has experience in the energy, particularly in oil and gas, construction, banking, telecommunications, hotel and pharmaceuticals sectors. He also has experience in cross-border litigation and asset recovery matters.

Rigaudeau is a member of the ICC’s Commission on the Belt & Road Initiative and of the Global Steering Committee of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Young Members’ Group, where now he has been nominated new chair. He practiced international arbitration in the Paris office of Foley Hoag. among other sites.
