Bär & Karrer advised Terna in Brugg Kabel’s acquisition

Terna signed an agreement to acquire 90% stake in the share capital of Brugg Kabel (Brugg Group). Acquisition of Brugg Kabel, an operator in the underground-cable sector, will allow Terna to acquire a centre of excellence for research, development and testing of one of the core technologies for the Tso, such as underground cables.

Bär & Karrer acted as legal advisors to Terna in Switzerland. The team was lead by Ralph Malacrida (pictured). As for the Italian side,  Terna was assisted by Ashurst.
