Bär & Karrer advises the Eastman Group on the acquisition of Willson
The Eastman Group, an internationally operating manufacturer of musical instruments, acquired the music manufacturing business from WILLSON Band Instruments Switzerland. Willson is a Swiss manufacturer of handmade, high-quality musical instruments.
Willson has been a leader in brass musical instruments for more than 70 years. They will join Eastman’s growing portfolio, which includes Eastman, Wm. S. Haynes Co., S. E. Shires Co., Backun Musical Services, Laskey and Bourgeois Guitars.
Bär & Karrer acted as legal advisor to the Eastman Group in this transaction. The team was led by Luca Jagmetti (pictured) and included Yascha Fengler (both M&A), Susanne Schreiber and Fabian Capt (both Tax) as well as Corrado Rampini (real estate).
