Bär & Karrer advises Farner with its partnership with Lansons

In line with its expansion strategy, the Farner group partnered with Lansons Communications Holdings to expand its consultancy alliance “Team Farner”. The London and New York based Lansons group, is a full-service communications consultancy specializing in reputation management, public affairs, campaigns and creative, crisis and issues, and sustainability advisory.

Together with Waterland Private Equity, Farner Consulting intends to continue its 70-year success story as Swiss market leader in communication consulting through international expansion. In this regard, and as we have been reporting, a leading agency group is being built around Farner through a selective buy-and-build acquisition strategy.

Bär & Karrer acted as legal advisor to the Farner group in this transaction. The team was co-led by partners Christoph Neeracher (pictured right) and Philippe Seiler (pictured left) and included Benjamin Grunwald, Luzius Bill, Yascha Fengler and Kai Bajka (all M&A), Raoul Stocker and Julian Hodel (both tax) as well as Fabian Turtschi (notarial services).
