Bär & Karrer advises Netrics on the acquisition of PageUp

Netrics, a portfolio company of Waterland Private Equity, has acquired PageUp, a provider of leading-edge cloud, edge computing and modern workplace services. PageUp will continue as an independent organisation under the Netrics brand from 2023.

The Netrics Group is further expanding its leading position as a provider of managed services for enterprise customers and demanding SMEs and is strengthening its position with PageUp, based in Bern, with retroactive effect from January 2022. For Netrics, the merger marks a further consistent step in the strategic development of the growth markets Modern Workplace, Cloud and Edge.

Bär & Karrer has acted as legal advisor to the Netrics group in this transaction. The team was led by partner Christoph Neeracher (pictured right) and partner Philippe Seiler (pictured left)and included Carlo Hunter, Yascha Fengler (all m&a), Raoul Stocker and Anke Stumm (both tax), Jonas Bornhauser and Christine Schweikard (both IP/IT), Micha Schilling and Faton Aliu (both financing) as well as Sandra Schaffner (employment).
