Bär & Karrer advises Nord Holding on the acquisition of Suter

Heizkurier Group, a portfolio company of Nord Holding, has acquired Suter Group, a supplier of mobile pellet heating and dehumidification solutions. With the acquisition, the company is implementing its growth and sustainability-focused strategy for Heizkurier to establish a market leader for equipment-as-a-service of mobile heating solutions in the DACH region. The existing management and the founders of Suter participate in the merger.

Founded in 2007, Heizkurier Group is a leading provider of rental and sales of mobile heating and cooling solutions and runs ten service sites in Germany and Austria. From the other side, Suter is headquartered in Lupfig, Switzerland, and is considered a pioneer in green pellet technology and rents environmentally friendly hot air and hot water systems to its customers.

Bär & Karrer acted as Swiss legal and tax advisor to Nord Holding, the private equity and asset management company with assets under management of 3 billion euros, in this transaction.
