Bär & Karrer advises on the acquisition of Renewtech by Kimbrer
The Danish company Kimbrer Computer, a supplier of used IT equipment and a Trill Impact portfolio company, has acquired Renewtech, a provider of circular IT services and networking solutions.
The acquisition of Renewtech also marks the beginning of Kimbrer Computer’s journey to become Europe’s leading one-stop-shop in the circular IT sector—a strategy initiated by the investment fund Trill Impact, which acquired Kimbrer last year with the goal of consolidating the European market for circular IT.
The team of Bär & Karrer was co-led by Philippe Seiler (pictured left) and Christoph Neeracher (pictured right) and included Dominique Nguyen (all M&A), Jonas Bornhauser (IP and IT) as well as Luljeta Morina (employment).
