Bär & Karrer appoints three new partners

Bär & Karrer expands its partnership lineup with the appointment of Abdul Carrupt (pictured right), Predrag Sunaric (pictured left), and Stephanie Walter (pictured centre), effective  January 1st 2026.

Predrag Sunaric

Predrag Sunaric’s practice focuses on domestic and cross-border litigation as well as arbitration. He advises both individuals and corporations on complex commercial disputes in across real estate, insurance, pharmaceuticals, employment, corporate law, and private wealth matters. Sunaric is active in both court proceedings and arbitration cases.

Stephanie Walter

Stephanie Walter advises and a diverse clientele of financial institutions across a broad range of regulatory and compliance matters. More specifically, her practice spans the licensing of newfinancial institutions — including FinTech firms —  as well as advising on mergers and acquisitions in the financial sector. Moreover, Walter frequently acts in internal corporate and regulatory investigations and in enforcement proceedings both in Switzerland and abroad.

Abdul Carrupt

A specialist across white-collar crime, financial litigation, internal investigations, asset recovery, crisis management, and sports arbitration, Abdul Carrupt advises on complex cross-border criminal proceedings, with a particular focus on matters of money laundering, anti-bribery, and corruption. Moreover, he frequently leads internal investigations and governance-related crisis work. His expertise also spans digital finance litigation.
