The advisors on Dovida sale to Ardian
Private equity firm Ardian completed the acquisition of a majority stake in the Dovida Group – formerly Home Instead. UBS Switzerland acted as mandated lead arranger, agent, security agent and original lender on the transaction.
In connection with the deal, Niederer Kraft Frey advised Ardian, while Bär & Karrer represented the selling shareholders. Wenger Vieli advised Philipp Scheier and his private equity team at Unigestion on the sale of their stake in the Dovida Group. Moreover, Homburger advised UBS Switzerland.
The parties
Headquartered in Rheinfelden, Switzerland, the Dovida Group provides non-medical home care services for seniors globally, across six countries.
Ardian is a private investment firm that manages or advises on approximately USD 180 billion in assets for over 1,850 clients worldwide. The firm employs more than 1,050 people across 20 offices in Europe, the Americas, Asia, and the Middle East.
