Birgit Sambeth joins the Board of Directors of the AIG

Birgit Sambeth, partner at Altenburger and former President of the Swiss Bar Association, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Aéroport international de Genève (AIG), which plays a crucial role in promoting Switzerland as a place of open and constructive international exchange and dialogue.

Sambeth is co-head of the Altenburg dispute resolution team. As a former deputy judge and court-appointed mediator and arbitrator, she is recognised as a forward-thinking, holistic and strategic dispute resolution specialist. In addition to her work in dispute resolution, Birgit Sambeth also frequently deals with corporate reorganisation and insolvency proceedings, where she acts as a creditor representative or as a liquidator and trustee in national and international bankruptcy and composition proceedings.
