BPM acquires Groupe Leuba: the advisors
French automotive distributor BPM completed the acquisition of Renens-based Groupe Leuba. In connection with the deal, Borel & Barbey represented the buyer, while Kellerhals Carrard advised the shareholders of Groupe Leuba.
The parties
Headquartered in Renens, selling part Groupe Leuba is one of the main distributors of Mercedes-Benz in the French-speaking part of Switzerland.
BPM a is French automotive distribution group. The company is present across more than 80 sites in France and Monaco, covering private cars, goods vehicles, trucks, motorbikes, construction equipment.
The Kellerhals Carrard team
Kellerhals Carrard provided tax and legal support throughout the transaction, including in respect of the pre-closing corporate restructuring of group, the negotiation and drafting of the contractual documentation, and the coordination and execution of the closing process.
