CMS advises Geodis International on its acquisition of ITS
GEODIS INTERNATIONAL, a renowned firm focus on transport and logistics, expanded its global footprint with the acquisition of a 100% interest in the Swiss freight forwarder, ITS – International Transport & Shipping. The deal, closed on 31 May 2023, takes GEODIS a step closer to completing its global end-to-end network.
ITS is a freight forwarder based in Reinach, in the canton of Basel, providing since 1992 high-tech “special services” in the transport and logistics for the industrial, automotive and defense sectors, in addition to ocean freight and general cargo services.
Pascal Favre (managing partner, pictured) led the Geneva team of CMS Switzerland advising GEODIS and covering all aspects of this m&Aa transaction. The team further comprised senior associate Audrey Durand as well as associates Francesca Scalco and Kevin Marcato.
