CMS advises the nChain group on the relocation of two group entities to Switzerland

Two nChain Group entities have relocated from Antigua and Barbuda to Zug, Switzerland. nChain AG (previously nChain Group Holdings Ltd) will be the group’s main client-facing entity, whereas nChain Licensing AG (previously nChain Holdings Ltd) will assume the role of the group’s IP entity. With the relocation to Switzerland, the nChain management is confident to have paved the way for the group’s continued growth and success.

The team 

A team of CMS, coordinated by Jodok Wicki (pictured), has comprehensively advised nChain on all Swiss legal aspects of the relocation to Switzerland. The team further included Daniel Jenny, (Partner, Corporate / M&A), Florian Jung (Associate, Corporate / M&A), Mark Cagienard (Partner, Tax), David Schuler (Associate, Tax), Christian Gersbach (Partner, Employment), Dirk Spacek (Partner, IP) and Fabian Martens (Counsel, Administrative Law).
