CMS Switzerland: Tina Balzli new Partner, head of fintech & blockchain

CMS Switzerland announced the joining of Tina Balzli (pictured) to the firm, as partner head of fintech & blockchain. Balzli specializes in banking, insurance, financial and capital markets law, general corporate and commercial law as well as mergers & acquisitions, with a particular focus on fintech and blockchain.

Prior to joining CMS Switzerland, Balzli was a partner, attorney at law, head of banking, fintech and blockchain at Pwc legal Switzerland. Balzli was also a senior associate with Bär & Karrer, where she served for more than 9 years. She worked for Crosby Securities Limited in Hong Kong and acted as research and teaching assistant at the Chair of Civil and Commercial Law at the University of Freiburg. Balzli was also a visiting researcher at the Max-Planck-Institute for Comparative and International Private law.
