Coatue in financing round for DeepJudge: the advisors

Bär & Karrer advised investor Coatue in an oversubscribed USD 10.7 million seed financing round for DeepJudge, advised by Wenger Vieli. The round also saw participation from several angel investors such as Gokul Rajaram and Michele Catasta and existing investors including Thomas Dübendorfer, Daniel Sauter and Felix Ehrat.

On the financing round

The funds are intended to support DeepJudge’s international expansion and scale the team to meet increasing customer demands, transforming enterprise legal search and unlocking new business models and client service possibilities.

VC/M&A partner Raphael Annasohn (pictured left) led Bär & Karrer’s team, which also included Lukas Bründler and Julian Lindt (both VC/M&A), Luljeta Morina (employment), Susanne Schreiber (tax), and Christine Schweikard (IP/IT/data protection).

Wenger Vieli’s team

Venture Capital/M&A partner Michael Baier (pictured right) led the team, which included Patric Eggler (partner, tax), Dominique Mattmann (senior associate, venture capital/M&A) and Kianoush Sadeghi (associate, venture capital/M&A).
