Cornelia Stengel, member of the BOD at St.Galler Kantonalbank

The Board of Directors of St.Galler Kantonalbank proposes Cornelia Stengel, attorney-at-law, as a member of the Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting on 1 May 2024. Prof. Dr. iur. Cornelia Stengel has worked as an attorney for financial market and data protection law for the law firm Kellerhals Carrard in Zurich since 2013, and as a partner since 2017. With the election of Cornelia Stengel, there will be three women on the Board of Directors of the St.Galler Kantonalbank.

Stengel specialises in financial markets and data protection law. Due to her other activities, including as a visiting professor and head of #FinTank at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), executive board member and member of the regulations working group of Swiss Fintech Innovations (SFTI), managing director of the Swiss Leasing Association (SLV) and her involvement in the expert commission on digitalisation of the Swiss Bankers Association (SBA), Cornelia Stengel also brings with her a broad network and future-oriented know-how in the financial services industry.
