Credit Suisse and ING Bank arrange refinancing for Green: the advisor

Niederer Kraft Frey advised Credit Suisse (Switzerland) acting as agent and coordinator, ING Bank N.V. acting as coordinator and the syndicate on the landmark refinancing of Green’s existing credit facilities agreement. The refinancing aims to support Green’s growth investment program and strengthens its market position. The credit facilities agreement is one of the very first Swiss financing transactions with a pool of both international and Swiss banks that provides for a rate switch mechanism regarding the change of the base rate used for the calculation of interest from CHF LIBOR to a risk-free base rate (SARON).

Green is a Swiss data center platform backed by Infravia, a leading European private equity firm based in Paris and specialised in infrastructure and technology investments. Green was an early player in the Swiss data center market and today operates state-of-the-art data centers, develops innovative cloud services and offers internet and networking solutions to business and residential customers alike. In recent years, Green has invested into innovative and sustainable technologies and further developed its data center infrastructure and capabilities to suit hyperscale needs and modern colocation requirements.
