DKSH Holding acquires Bosung Scientific: the advisor
DKSH Holding, Switzerland-based provider of market expansion services, acquired Bosung Scientific, a South Korea-based company engaged in selling, marketing and distributing consumables and instrumentation to life sciences, clinical diagnostics, environmental, and microbiology markets, for an undisclosed consideration. Furthermore, in Business Unit Healthcare, DKSH also annuounced to have acquired medical device distributor MedWorkz in Singapore.
Following the acquisition of SPC in Thailand in 2019, Bosung acquisition is the second to further solidify DKSH’s position as a leading Pan-Asian provider of scientific instrumentation. Indeed, the number of research laboratories of DKSH will increase to 19 in the Business Unit Technology segment post this transcation. The deal is expected to be completed by the end of March 2021.
