DSP Group agreed to acquire SoundChip: the advisors

DSP Group has agreed to acquire SoundChip, a Switzerland-based company engaged in producing semiconductors for use in microphones and headphones and providing system-level audio solutions, for a total consideration of USD 20.5m.

The acquisition will help DSP Group in increasing its market share and also enter into new markets and is in line with DSP’s strategy to provide best quality products for voice and communications devices. The transaction is expected to complete by 01 July 2020 and is subject to customary closing conditions.
