Bär & Karrer: ELCA creates a new cyber-defense joint venture

The independent Swiss IT provider ELCA, acting via its specialised subsidiary ELCA Security, and the international cyber-security specialist BlueVoyant have announced on 11 January 2022 the creation of a new cyber-defense joint venture called “Senthorus”. The joint venture company will operate a new Switzerland-based SOC (Security Operations Center) that will allow clients to benefit from state-of-the-art cyber security protection from an independent Swiss company, keeping all client data in Switzerland. 

 Bär & Karrer advised ELCA on all legal aspects of the joint venture project. The team was led by Martin Anderson (m&a/corporate, pictured) and included Bénédict Siegrist (m&a), Markus Wang (IP/IT) and Christoph Suter (tax).
