EPIC Suisse launches IPO on the SIX Swiss Exchange

Niederer Kraft Frey advised EPIC Suisse as issuer’s counsel in connection with its initial public offering and listing on SIX Swiss Exchange. The transaction represents the first traditional IPO on the Main Market of SIX Swiss Exchange in 2022.

The opening price was CHF 68.00, which translated into a market capitalisation of CHF 693 million (before exercise of an over-allotment option of up to 298,507 shares). EPIC Suisse joins SIX’s “Standard for Real Estate Companies”, bringing the number of listed companies in the real estate segment to 18.

EPIC is a growing Swiss commercial real estate company with a property portfolio of 25 properties strategically located in the Lake Geneva and Zurich regions. As at 31 December 2021, the fair value of its properties was approximately CHF 1.5 billion. EPIC will use the net proceeds from the IPO to finance its current development projects as well as potential future acquisitions, after redeeming bank facilities and shareholder loans.

Arik Parizer, CEO of EPIC, says: “We are delighted to join SIX Swiss Exchange today and to welcome our new and diverse shareholders who have placed their trust in our strong business model. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our colleagues, tenants and other stakeholders whose support over the years has made our journey so exciting and enjoyable. We look forward to continuing our journey going forward”.
