Equal opportunities, 30 Swiss CEOs commit together
Advance, the business association for gender equality in Switzerland, brought together 30 CEOs and Country Heads of leading corporations to discuss the role of leaders for a gender-equitable business world. The ambition of the 2nd Advance CEO Breakfast was to move beyond words to taking concrete actions. For the first time in Switzerland, a concrete joint commitment of 30 top leaders has been achieved. The commitment grounded in five main points:
- business leaders sponsors female talent to make companies successful
- ensure a gender-balanced pipeline bottom to top
- demand diverse promotion/hiring slates at all levels
- set gender goals and measuring progress
- follow-up on progress at next year’s CEO breakfast (2021)
From the legal field, among the top 30 leaders there were Urs Klöti (pictured right) managing partner at Pestalozzi and Florian Gunz Niedermann (pictured left), partner at WalderWyss.
