Financecommunity Week 2021. Day 1

The third edition of Financecommunity Week has officially opened. The 2021 edition of the event designed to bring together ideas, protagonists and institutions of the Italian and international financial community is once again held in Milan, and precisely at the Four Seasons Hotel (Montenapoleone area).

 

The review of conferences, panels and round tables will take place in Milan until November 19th and will reach end with the gala evening of the Financecommunity Awards, scheduled for the evening of Thursday 18th November at the Palazzo del Ghiaccio in Milan.

Monday 15 November 2021 – first day

 

The first day of Financecommunity Week 2021 began at 9.10 am with the usual opening conference, this year titled “Italy’s Recovery Plan: Reforms and Investments”. To open the proceedings, greetings from Aldo Scaringella, managing director of LC Publishing Group, followed by the opening speech by Fabrizio Pagani, global head of economics and capital market strategy of Muzinich & Co.

 

The proceedings then came to life with the dialogue between Orlando Barucci, managing partner of Vitale & Co., and Ferruccio De Bortoli, journalist of Corriere della Sera, moderated by Nicola Di Molfetta, editor-in-chief of Financecommunity and MAG. Following, before a coffee break, a keynote speech by Matteo Del Fante, CEO and general manager of Poste Italiane.

 

 

At 11:15 am the resumption, with a round table entitled “CEO Insights: NRRP & businesses; impact, reaction, expectations” which, again under the moderation of Nicola Di Molfetta, hosted Giuseppe Castagna, ceo of Banco BPM as speakers; Gregorio Consoli, managing partner of Chiomenti; Giovanna Della Posta, CEO of Invimit sgr; and Corrado Passera, founder and CEO of Illimity.

 

 

The morning closed with closing speeches by Roberto Sambuco, partner of Vitale & Co., and Enrico Giovannini, Minister of sustainable infrastructure and mobility.

In the afternoon, the Four Season Hotel hosted two other round tables, both moderated by Eleonora Fraschini, editor of Financecommunity.it.

 

 

The first, which began at 2.15pm, saw a rich parterre alternating on the theme “Managing Risks in M&A Transactions”. Specifically, Andrea Foti, managing director, head of m&a and transaction solutions Southern Europe at Aon, took part; Francesco Gianni, founding partner of Gianni & Origoni; Giulia Maria Governa, director of Lazard; Mauro Roversi, partner of Ambienta sgr; Laura Segni, general counsel of Imi Corporate & Investment Banking; and Umberto Simonelli, Brembo’s chief legal & corporate affairs officer – company secretary.
