Wenger Vieli advise Fu-Gen in its EUR 320 m investment deal

Fu-Gen, an independent power producer and investor in renewable energy, has secured a strategic investment of more than EUR 320 million that will enable the company to advance renewable energy development.

The funding received will be invested in onshore wind, solar, battery storage and green hydrogen to accelerate Europe’s energy transition across the Nordic countries and the UK. The strategic investment has been secured from Migdal Insurance, Menora Mivtachim Insurance and Arkin Group.

The investable capital is comprised of commitments to the newly established Fu-Gen Assets 4 Platform, direct equity investment in Fu-Gen AG as well as co-investment rights in projects held by Fu-Gen.

Wenger Vieli acted as Swiss legal counsel to Fu-Gen on all corporate and financing aspects.
