GHR Rechtsanwälte has advised Gfeller Elektro on the sale of the100% of the company’s shares for an undisclosed price to VINCI Energies, a member of the VINCI Group. VINCI Energies posted revenue of €716.6 million in Switzerland and employs around 3,261 people.
The Bern based Gfeller Elektro has been in business for over 100 years and is a family-run company specializing in electrical installations, telematics and Smart ICT, service and small installations, lighting solutions and Smart Home. The company has a strong customer base in the retail trade, real estate, hotels, restaurants and the public sector.
Gfeller will broaden ETAVIS SA’s portfolio of electrotechnical and technical building expertise by offering its customers solutions in these fields, together with renewable energies, exposure control techniques, consulting services and engineering. While ETAVIS is already well positioned in Switzerland and Liechtenstein and has a strong regional base, the merger with Gfeller will enable it to establish positions in the Berne market, thereby offering the best possible service to local customers.
