Grasshopper Football partners with new anchor investor: the advisors

 Hong Kong-based Champion Union HK Holdings acquired 90% of the stake in Grasshopper Football, the entity operating professional football of Grasshopper Club Zurich, from former majority shareholders Dr. Peter Stüber and Stephan Anliker. As part of the transaction a new foundation, the Grasshopper Football Foundation, was established on 9 April 2020. The Foundation shall safeguard the current and long-term interests of the Grasshopper football as a whole. The transaction could be completed after its clearance by the Swiss Football League.
