Walder Wyss advised Heligan Group in the acquisition of Projectina

Ultra Forensic Technology (UFT) has agreed to sell its Switzerland based Projectina business (Projectina) to UK-based private equity and advisory firm, Heligan Group.

As a niche forensic and security-focused optical engineering business, Projectina has been manufacturing microscopes, document examination products, forensic crime scene equipment, and delivering custom OEM engineering services for over four decades.

The acquisition expands Heligan’s portfolio of science and technology-led companies across its core national security, crime prevention and public safety sectors, and complements its corporate finance advisory services.

Walder Wyss advised Heligan Group in the transaction. The team was led by Luc Defferrard (partner, corporate/m&a, pictured) and Alice Vorburger (senior associate, corporate/m&a) and further included Fabienne Limacher (partner, tax) and Irène SuterSieber (partner, employment).
