Hitachi ABB Power Grids outsources IT infrastructure services to HCL Technologies
Hitachi ABB Power Grids (HAPG), a joint venture emerged from ABB’s former power grids division, has awarded a contract for the global management of IT infrastructure services to HCL Technologies. The deal entails a complex transition from the legacy infrastructure to a self-sustaining IT environment involving end-to-end service integration.
Walder Wyss advised HAPG during the tendering and contracting phase with a team led by Michael Isler (Partner, IT) and included Andrea Haefeli (Counsel, Transactions), Annemarie Lagger (Senior Associate, IT) and Caroline Gaul (Senior Associate, IT).
