Homburger advised the shareholders of byerley in connection with their sale to Abraxas Informatik

On February 2, 2021, Abraxas Informatik announced the acquisition of byerley from its founders and shareholders, Labinot Demaj and Patrick Sägesser. The acquisition of Byerley enables Abraxas to promote digital transformation within public administration.

Byerley is a provider of chatbots in the field of public administration in Switzerland. By automating processes and generating individual responses to users, chatbots reduce the internal complexity of administrations, thereby simplifying the digital access of the population and companies to public services around the clock and reducing the workload of administrative personnel.

Homburger advised Byerley’s shareholders on the transaction. The team comprised partner Dieter Gericke (pictured) and associate Nicola Togni (both Corporate / M&A).
