Homburger advises Crown on its acquisition of Helvetia Packaging 

Crown Holdings, a global supplier of rigid packaging products to consumer marketing companies, as well as transit and protective packaging products, announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Helvetia Packaging, a Swiss supplier of sustainable aluminum beverage packaging with a manufacturing facility in Saarlouis, Germany. The transaction is subject to approval by German anti-trust authorities and is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.

Homburger has acted as Swiss counsel to Crown Packaging European Division on this transaction. The team was led by partner Daniel Hasler (corporate / m&a, pictured) and included Francesco Bernasconi (corporate / m&a), Bianca Nedwed (corporate / m&a) as well as Florian Bruggisser (corporate / m&a).
