Homburger advises RBC Europe on the debt of 3i Investments

Homburger acted as counsel to the lenders represented by RBC Europe Limited in connection with the accession of EBD Irradiation Services, a company of the Ionisos group, to certain English law governed financing agreements relating to the debt platform of 3i Investments and the entry into certain Swiss law governed security agreements.

Headquartered in Civrieux d’Azergues, France, Ionisos owns and operates multiple cold sterilisation facilities in Europe that are used by the medical, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries for whom cold sterilisation is an essential component of the manufacturing process.

Homburger advised RBC Europe Limited with regard to all Swiss legal aspects of the financing transactions. The team was led by partner Daniel Haeberli (pictured) and included Fabrice Eckert (both financing) and Stefan Oesterhelt (tax).
